The 2027 1 oz Australian Lunar Year of the Goat Silver Coin celebrates the eighth animal of the Chinese zodiac and forms part of The Perth Mint's Australian Lunar Series III. Struck from 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver, this annual bullion release combines investment-grade silver with the collectability and detailed craftsmanship associated with The Perth Mint's popular lunar program. The 2027 bullion range was officially released in September 2026.

Designed by Natasha Muhl, the reverse depicts a mature goat, a young goat and a baby goat grazing peacefully, representing the auspicious concept of “Three Goats Bring Bliss” and symbolising renewal and prosperous new beginnings. A plum blossom tree in the design represents purity, resilience and hope. The reverse also features the Chinese character for “Goat”, the inscription “GOAT 2027”, and The Perth Mint's traditional “P” mintmark.
The obverse features Dan Thorne's effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, together with the coin's weight, fineness and monetary denomination. The coin is issued as Australian legal tender and the 1 oz denomination carries a face value of AUD $1.

Effectively this means our storage clients are 'not' exposed to any credit or insolvency risks arising from the financial or monetary system. In fact they are not exposed even from the bankruptcy of our own company as customer holdings are segregated in their own family name.
