Key Features

  • Contains 1/4 troy ounce of .9999 fine gold
  • Produced by The Royal Mint
  • Part of the Tudor Beasts series (7th release)
  • Obverse: Portrait of King Charles III
  • Reverse: Greyhound of Richmond with the Three Lions shield

The reverse features the elegant Greyhound of Richmond, a historic emblem associated with the Tudor lineage and inherited from the House of Lancaster, symbolising loyalty, strength, and royal authority. The design by David Lawrence shows the greyhound supporting a shield bearing the Three Lions of England, reinforcing the legacy of royal sovereignty.

The obverse displays the official portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, confirming the coin’s status as UK legal tender with a £25 face value.

Part of a series inspired by the legendary stone beasts at Hampton Court Palace, the 2025 Greyhound of Richmond release is highly sought after by both collectors and investors for its symbolism, design, and investment-grade gold content.
