The Royal Mint is excited to add the latest bullion Platinum One Ounce coin to The Queen’s Beasts collection. Inspired by ancient symbols of power and identity, the range brings to life the ten imposing statues that lined the entrance to Westminster Abbey in 1953 at the coronation of Her Majesty The Queen.

The White Lion of Mortimer descends to Her Majesty The Queen through her Yorkist heritage. First used by Roger Mortimer, Earl of March, a founder Knight of the Order of the Garter, it passed to the House of York and was notably used by Edward IV.

With a regal history dating back to the 1300s, the White Lion of Mortimer has been synonymous with Queen Elizabeth II since her coronation in 1953. Now in its fifth year, The Queen’s Beasts Collection proudly features the impressive feline in its rightful position as part of this series of stunning heraldic designs.

The 2021 design features the majestic lion armed with a shield that bears the Mortimer badge, distinguishable by the ‘rose-en-soleil’ in the centre. The stunning features of the lion are backed by a secure chainmail background texture, providing a fitting backdrop for this impressive beast.

Enhance your existing collection with this highly sought after coin.

We Employ Third Party Storage To Guarantee Our Customers Holdings

With Our Vaulting Provider at 'Le Freeport' - Malca-Amit Class 'A' Vaulting

World Renowned Bonded Vaulting Facility

Allocated Metal Accounts involves the secure storage of specific numbered gold, silver, platinum, palladium or rhodium bars or coins, segregated within our vaults at ‘Le Freeport’ of Singapore and held as the property of and in the sole name of the account holder.

- Quarterly statements and vault storage invoices.

- Bespoke online vaulting portal giving you access to your inventory, live performances in 6 currencies, charts and reports.

- Fully Insured by Lloyds of London

- Independently Audited

Once the customer has made their order, the metals will be delivered into Le Freeport and we will forward on a "Delivered Inventory-In Report - Customer Copy" which comes directly from our vaulting provider themselves.

Effectively this means our storage clients are 'not' exposed to any credit or insolvency risks arising from the financial or monetary system. In fact they are not exposed even from the bankruptcy of our own company as customer holdings are segregated in their own family name.
